The ArchiveFAQ
What shippers usually ask us
Does the carrier need BlueCMR?
No. It receives the document by QR code, link, SMS or WhatsApp and signs from the phone's browser, with no account or installation.
Who issues the document, the shipper or the carrier?
Either of them. In domestic transport in Spain, the contractual shipper and the actual carrier both complete the control document (DeCA), and the carrier keeps it on board; both are responsible for its existence and for it being filled in correctly. With BlueCMR, whoever issues it shares it with the other in a moment.
Do I need a control document (DeCA) as well as a consignment note?
Not necessarily. A consignment note or delivery note that contains all the control document data also fulfils that obligation (art. 2.2 of Order FOM/2861/2012). BlueCMR issues them that way.
What if the carrier brings its own document?
You can archive it in BlueCMR by scanning its QR code, with the link or by uploading the PDF: AI recognises it, extracts its data and stores it alongside your documents.
How does it connect to my ERP?
Via the REST API and webhooks or, with no coding, using the files your system already produces, in any format, PDF included, by FTP or email. For large volumes, we coordinate a pilot including the integration.
